Traveling to the Galápagos requires a few specific steps before boarding your flight from Quito or Guayaquil. You'll need to have: • A valid passport • Roundtrip airfare to and from the islands • Proof of private travel insurance • A Transit Control Card (TCC), available at the airport for $20 (cash only) Upon arrival in the Galápagos, you'll also present your Transit Control Card and pay the Galápagos National Park entrance fee (currently $200). The good news? We handle all of this for you. From pre-registering your Transit Control Card to arranging National Park fee payments (where possible), we take care of every detail so you can simply enjoy your journey.
The Galápagos are considered one of the safest destinations worldwide, with extremely low crime rates. However, visitors must first pass through mainland Ecuador, where basic travel precautions are advised. For your peace of mind, we offer private security services during your stay on the mainland. Travelers must first fly into mainland Ecuador — either Quito (UIO) or Guayaquil (GYE). From there, domestic flights operate daily to Baltra (GPS) or San Cristóbal (SCY) airports in the Galápagos. We'll assist with booking your domestic flights and handle all transfers, ensuring a smooth journey from start to finish.
