With over 40 years of experience in the Galápagos Islands, Samuel is a Level 3 naturalist guide and one of the most respected expedition leaders in the region. His lifelong passion for nature and conservation has shaped a career dedicated to protecting the islands and sharing their wonders with travelers from around the world. After working with top international expedition companies, he founded Galápagos High End to offer exclusive, sustainable journeys. Known for his warmth, professionalism, and deep knowledge, Samuel provides guests with unforgettable experiences and rare access to some of the archipelago's most protected areas.
Jose Borja
Co-Founder & Director of U.S. Operations
Born and raised in Ecuador, Jose has always had a deep love for the Galápagos Islands and a lifelong respect for wildlife and conservation. With a Master of Science in Information Technology and a passion for traveling the world, he brings a global perspective and innovative mindset to Galápagos High End. As Director of U.S. Operations, Jose leads the integration of cutting-edge technology to craft seamless, secure, and highly personalized expedition experiences.
